PRCA Hall of Fame and World Champion Bareback Rider Clint Corey Makes a Return to the Rodeo Arena
Hartville, Wyoming, June 17, 2008—World Champion bareback rider, Clint Corey of Powell Butte, Oregon returns to the rodeo arena—this time, with a focus on supporting qualified and upcoming professional rodeo cowboys. As co-founder and Vice President of the American Cowboy Coffee Corporation (www.AmericanCowboyCoffee.com), Corey has set his sights on building an “all American” brand of coffee products in order to fund the sponsorship, development and advancement of a new generation of professional rodeo cowboys.
As a world-class and record-setting rough stock rider, Corey admits that making it to a rodeo event is sometimes much harder than riding the toughest meanest animals. “Since my retirement from the PRCA circuit,” said Corey, “I’ve met many a young rider with the kind of devotion and talent that would put a fear-rattling jingle in the spurs of any and all world-class rough stock rodeo contender. Through clinics and high-school rodeo programs I’ve been doing all that I could to help the young and talented get to the top of their game… now, I’ve found a new arena—one I hope will help me reach out and help more and more of the most deserving cowboys on their way to the rodeo Hall of Fame.”
“When my friend, AJ Roy, asked me to join him in the development of American Cowboy Coffee,” continues Corey, “it was clear that, he too, had the same innate desire to support the upcoming rodeo professionals. We both know that it will take a long time before American Cowboy Coffee becomes a profitable venture for us but we also recognize the sacrifices that must be made to get to the buzzer and reap the rewards. What matters for us,” continues Corey, “is the fact that, through this venture, we will be able to make a very positive impact on the professional lives of these rodeo cowboys and have a heck of a time in the process.”
Watch for Corey and his new coffee products at the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo in Cheyenne, WY, July 18-28, 2008, and at the PRCA Wrangler Nationals Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV, December 4-13, 2008. You can also order American Cowboy Coffee products online at www.AmericanCowboyCoffee.com. American Cowboy Coffee products are made from American grown coffee beans from the Big Island of Hawaii.
